We had our leaders meeting this past week and I wanted to pass along some information.  At some point I will send out separate emails for some of this things but I wanted to get some information out there in one shot.

Here it goes:

1.)  West Point Event - For those of you attending, parking passes have to be purchased by next Sunday 10/18/15.  Passes are $15 each and can be submitted to your den leader at your next den meeting (most dens are meeting this week) or to Lori Walsh (  You will not be guaranteed a parking spot if you do not purchase one.  We have sold 64 tickets to this event and a full itinerary will be coming in a couple of weeks.
2.)  Halloween Event - I apologize in advance for the changes we have had to make to this event but the circumstances have been out of our hands.  We will be holding our annual Halloween Event this year at the American Air Power Museum in Farmingdale.  Each Scout and 1 adult will be paid for by the Pack but any additional adults or children will be $5 each.  I will send out more info as it gets closer but the basic details are that it will be on Friday, October 30th, we will meet there at 4:45pm, the event ends at 7pm, the museum is located at 1230 New Highway Farmingdale and the website for more info is
The Scouts should be in costumes, there will be a scavenger hunt, costume contest, a tour of the haunted bomber and more.
3.)  T Shirts - Thank you all for getting back to us on sizes, we will be ordering the Class B T Shirts next week and should have them by the end of the month.
4.)  New Program - For Tigers, Wolves and Bears your den completes all the requirements AND the number of electives it states in the handbook for your level.  For each requirement or elective completed, the scouts get a belt loop.  For Webelos and Arrow of Light they get pins.  The books will be used as a guide by your den leader to accomplish the requirements.  Remember, each month there will usually be 1 den meeting, 1 field trip (“Go See It”), 1 event and 1 Pack Night.
